You Sunk My Battleship Print Release

You Sunk My Battleship — New Limited Edition Screenprint

Every kid has that one Christmas gift they never stopped thinking about. Mine was the GI Joe USS Flagg aircraft carrier. The Holy Grail of toys.

If you're not familiar, the USS Flagg was a seven-and-a-half foot long aircraft carrier playset. It was completely absurd and absolutely incredible. I asked for it every Christmas dreaming that this might be the year it showed up under the tree.

It never did. And being a parent now, I totally understand. Where do you put a seven-and-a-half foot long toy?

One year, I asked for a Nintendo as well as the Flagg. Two huge long shots. I didn't expect either one. But Christmas morning, hidden behind the tree, one last present. What would it be? A Nintendo. I couldn't have been more excited.

This new print celebrates that childhood memory. Team Mario officially taking down GI Joe in a showdown that only makes sense if you grew up in the 80s. I never asked for the Flagg again.

I truly wish I had video of my parents trying to run on the Power Pad.
